Layer-1 blockchain ecosystem Aptos is gearing up for a new collaboration with NFT marketplace Rarible as the network sees a spike in daily transactions.
Aptos (APT) is set to collaborate with Rarible, a marketplace for non-fungible tokens, to create new opportunities for both platforms.
In a forum post, an Aptos Foundation global community manager, "Angel," hinted at Rarible possibly adding support for the network. This could bring “novel NFT use cases leveraging Aptos’ tech.”
“Whether it’s a full marketplace launch or another form of collaboration, this teased alliance between Rarible and Aptos is definitely one to watch!”

Rarible, which supports networks like Ethereum, Base, and Celo, has not yet integrated Aptos. However, their social media hints at a potential partnership, though details remain unspecified.
The news coincides with a surge in Aptos network activity. On Aug. 14, daily transactions nearly hit 144 million, according to data from Aptoscan. The cause of this surge is unclear, but it marks a significant increase in on-chain activity.
This activity surge happened days before Tether announced that its U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoin (USDT) would soon be available on the Aptos network. While the exact launch date is undisclosed, Tether praised Aptos’ “robust developer community” and “extremely low gas fees.”
Tether highlighted Aptos’ low transaction costs, making the network “economically viable for a broader range of use cases, from microtransactions to large-scale enterprise operations.”
